The Center for Strategic Studies to support women and children, in partnership with the National Committee for women, Taiz branch, held this morning the first women's consultative meeting for department managers in administrative and executive offices at the level of directorates of Taiz governorate, which was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hall


The meeting targeted the directors of departments and heads of departments to stand in front of all the issues and difficulties facing the female staff in various departments in the executive offices

On the sidelines of the meeting, Dr. Angela Al-Maamari, CEO of the Center for Strategic Studies to support women and children, explained that the aim of the meeting was to highlight women leaders in administrative and executive offices at the level of Taiz governorate
And focus.To know the challenges and difficulties facing women in their tasks as well as the available opportunities and work to reach the real empowerment of women and create channels of communication between them and the authority at the local and national level in order to include women in the strategic plans at the local and national level
For her part, the chairman of the National Committee for women, Taiz branch, Mrs. Sabah Abdul Majid, confirmed that the purpose of the meeting, which targeted most of the female cadres at the departmental level, was to discuss women's issues and learn about the challenges, obstacles and difficulties facing women at work
And to come up with recommendations on the mechanism of real administrative empowerment of women through their administrative and executive positions
Stressing the importance of the first consultative meeting for women at the governorate level, which enhances the role of women and their support in order to exercise their functions fully
She praised the prominent and effective role of women in Taiz governorate at various levels on social, political and administrative
At the meeting, the participants were divided into groups to review the shortcomings they face and come up with recommendations to stand in front of them and include them among the priorities and a program to be adopted on all local and national axes and achieve them on the ground
